Okay - I'm joining the 21st century and this is my first attempt at my own blog.  Why do this?  I'm an artist who just moved to Kansas from California!  So - I have lots of friends and collectors still in California and all over the country. This is a good way to keep in touch with pals - and to make some new ones.  My husband and I moved to Overland Park, Kansas (greater Kansas City area) from Bakersfield, Ca earlier this year.  I like to say that "life's an adventure!"  It's fun to share some of that adventure with others!




AND - I'm joining the on-line artist movement of "a painting a day" - but with my own twist.  I may not have an actual painting - but every day I'll have something new that I created (maybe a painted bag or a tile).  YIKES - what a challenge!!  Many will be "small treasures" - smaller works at affordable prices.  What an adventure to see where this daily thing will take my art style.  "Stay tuned!!"  (My almost daily postings will be on Mondays through Fridays.  Let's not be ridiculous. . . .)
