Garden Pot

Oh how I love flowers! This reminds me of our backyard in Bakersfield - filled with colorful flowers and lots of different sized pots. We're sort of starting over here in Kansas in the flower area, and we didn't move many of the pots. Everything is SO green because we've had tons of rain. I haven't been out planting flowers like I did in California, mainly because we're still working on the inside of the "new" house. And we have to figure out what flowers work in this area that's so different from the desert. I did my own little garden planting today with this painting! The flowers were planted with a pallette knife instead of a trowel. They won't wilt in the summer heat that's sure to be here soon. If the sun is out tomorrow, maybe we'll head to the nursery and start taking baby steps in transforming our yard into a colorful place.
Have a beautiful day!
Claudia -- I just finally got into your daily art blog. I love it! And I love your newest works. I will definitely check your blog often (I won't say daily -- probably wouldn't happen...) I think I will try a "Daily Art" piece. What a great idea!

I love this painting!!!! I can visualize your Bako garden, but it also reminds me of gardens in and around Houston in the Spring.
Have a great day.

I love this painting! Wonderful colors, only my garden in Bfield never looked like this. I am double listed on your list; I get two emails per day.
