There's a beautiful mountain pass in California between Bakersfield and L.A. - the Tejon Pass.  We probably drove over that hundreds of times in the 17 years we lived in California.  It's beautiful in all seasons!!  The mountains are steep and spectacular and the air is clean - a treat for both Bakersfield and L.A.   I have tons of photos from this beautiful area and have painted it often - and will continue to do so.  Such an inspiration to much of my art.  Enjoy!
