This is a modified version of "Two Sunflowers" posted a couple of days ago. That "two" painting doesn't exist anymore - and the big "in your face" sunflower has been softened a little - it's not quite as symmetrical. AND - I added the suggestion of another sunflower - hence "three". There's one of those rules in art that things should be done in uneven groupings. I thought I'd just bend that rule a bit and do 2 flowers - but it didn't seem to work. Maybe this is better. You can compare it with the earlier version and decide for yourself.
Our house is clean! Just thought you'd like to know.
Some of you have notified me that you're getting duplicate postings of a few of my entries. Part of this is "operator error." Anytime I make an edit of a posting, you get to see it again. For instance, the first time I posted "Two Sunflowers", I forgot to put the hyperlink in on for the image - that's the link that takes you to the pricing information when you click on the image. Maybe that was a subliminal obmission - my inner psyche was saying - noooooooo. When I first started my blog, the double posting happened often and I didn't know why. That doesn't seem to be the case now - and I apologize when you have to see things twice because I have to make a change. Still climbing that learning curve.
I'm off to the store. Have a beautiful day!!
