Last night I painted at Artichokes where we're doing a dinner party series.  Last week we painted the flower arrangement - my first in the zinnia series.  This week we focused on the drinks.  I painted a bottle of cabernet with grapes and the wine of course!  A fun part of the evening is we get to enjoy some wine while we paint.  You must remember, though, not to dip your paint brush into your wine glass!!!  That's not good for the paints - or the wine.  And it does get confusing when the water starts to look like the dark wine from cleaning your brushes.  Oh it's tough being an alert artist sometimes.

I have an interesting dilemma - what to do when I sell a painting?  And I've sold several this week.  If I go back and change the message from "click image to see purchase information" to "sold", then my subscribers will get these modified postings sent their way - again.  I think that's irritating, so I have to ponder this.  Any suggestions?

We plan to have a beautiful weekend - and I hope your do, too!
