Today's painting is a 2003/2007 vintage - which means I took a painting done in 2003, and "punched it up a bit" with more color and contrast.  Why not!  I basically liked the painting, but it was a little dull . . . . .   I don't think you'd say that now.  This painting reminds me of huge, yellow cottonwoods in the Fall in Colorado.  They're just beautiful and have a touch of red to add to the visual impact.  We often spend a week in the Vail area of Colorado in the Fall and usually the colors of Mother Nature are at their peak.  It's just breathtaking!

I'm going to be working on adding art to my website and my shopping cart - getting ready for a big promotion of the site in about a week.  I wanted to get a "critical mass" of paintings and blog entries before I do a major promotion.  Plus, I'm working out a few kinks on the site.  Please stay tuned - I'm going to have a special offer for those who read my blog before I offer it to the public.  You're my best supporters and I so thank you.

Back to work.  I hope you have a beautiful evening!
