I did it again - changed a painting and reposted it.  Compare this to Pink Prickly Pears - 8/2/2007.  I started to just paint another one, but then I decided to use my pallette knife and give the first try a little more spirit and movement.  So I'm done with this painting now - and the "other one" no longer exists.  Well - maybe it just grew up a bit.  Ah, the magic of paint!

Remember I said I feel like I have a split personality with my art?  Sometimes I find I'm  trying to paint with acrylics using the new techniques I'm learning for oils.  I think my split personalities are finding their own identities - acrylic will be my "fun and funky" self, and oils will be my more "serious" self - at least for now.   One of my favorite books and movies is the "Three Faces of Eve."  A really clever line is when the party gal said she'd go out or a great time and leave the hangover to the serious one.  I'll try to be nice to both of my "faces" in the paint world.

I'm off to clean for the cleaning lady tomorrow.  One great thing about having a cleaning service is I get some of my piles straightened up at least every other week.  Sometimes they just make it into the closet . . .  My husband likes this!

Have a beautiful evening.
