I'm back!  Sorry for the little break in posting entries.  I was having so many problems with the images not showing up, etc, that I took a break until we could get these issues resolved.  I do hope they're resolved!  I'd really appreciate it if you loyal subscribers will let me know if 1) you get the photo of the painting in your email, and 2) if the hyperlink works - ie, when you "click for more information," do you get to the "more information" page?  One strange thing about this program - I don't know who's subscribing to this blog.  That's okay - just a little weird not to know who's out there reading my stuff. 

Okay - about this painting.  I almost didn't post it.  It seems very busy to me.  My husband thinks it's okay - actually, he likes it.  He reminded me that some people like things busier than I normally paint.  In fact - he pointed out a beautiful print by William Hook that's sitting on the floor in my studio.  It's a mission, with lots of busy flowers in the foreground.  Hmmm....  I do love his art and this is one of my favorites.  I'm so confused!  Another thing I've learned - sometimes things that I feel "so so" about are the paintings that others really love.  So - I'll give this little painting a chance.
