Today's painting is quite a contrast to the oil painting posted yesterday.  Everyone in Bakersfield said my style would change when I moved to the mid-continent.  And they're right!  Or at least my style types are expanding.  I'll probably always do some type of this funky approach to my art - at least in part.  This fun painting was done on location (en plein air) at Pismo Beach last year when I painted with some artist friends.  We had such fun setting up and doing our art thing in that beautiful part of California.  Our host was a great cook and we ate very well, too!  Can't get much better than that - good food, good friends, painting at a beautiful location - and a little local wine, too.

I'll do my big email promotion early next week.  Woke up with a cold this morning and we're getting ready for a visit by our granddaughters from Colorado - to help celebrate our K.C. granddaughter's 2nd birthday.  Busy times!  Nice to have lots of family around, too.

Take care and have a beautiful day!
