My fun muse woke up today and said - "hello, where are you????"  Painting this afternoon was like a huge, fun recess!  I've been studying and learning new skills and my creative brain's been on overload.  So - it was time for a break and to just have fun.  Actually this painting was started during one of my classes about a year ago.  I was doing a demo and we were working on really fun aspects of painting - black lines, loading the brush with several colors of paint, using bold bold colors, splattering, etc.  My students always loved this "play day."  And I did, too.  The goal of the day was to not get too serious.  My pot's a little "whompey-jawed," which means crooked for those of you who didn't grow up in Texas.  I've never seen flowers quite like these.  And it doesn't matter a bit!  Oh, the joy of painting and having fun!

I hope this little cutie brings a beautiful smile to your face!
