Guardian Angel
12" x 12" giclee print
I'm back! Sort of. Sorry for the long absence. I've been traveling and I had a family loss and lots of doctor appointments (very thorough physical exam) and some other distractions. You know - "life!" I just returned home yesterday from a week in Texas and we leave Saturday for an art week in Estes Park, Colorado. Whew! I've been very pleased and surprised to hear from several of my subscribers wondering what happened to my blog. That's very reassuring! I never know if anyone reads my stuff or if I'm just sitting here doing a type of on-line journal of my art life and if I'm just blabbering away to myself. So - thanks to those who wondered what happened to me. I appreciate your concern - and especially your interest in my art.
Today's posting is a print of a painting that I did 2 years ago. It was the cover of a Christmas song book that was distributed to about 10,000 school children. Fun - and what an honor!!! I haven't painted in several weeks. Oops! But - since people are asking where I've been, I wanted to add something to my blog. This little guardian angel has been very popular at holidays, but we can all use a Guardian Angel any time in our lives. So I'm sharing it with you now. You know - good vibes always, and a hint that the holidays are almost here. Oh, my!!! It's never too early to start thinking holiday gifts or decorations. Keep this print in mind if you like it. There's some glitch in my shopping cart software, but if you're interested in purchasing this print, go to www.yessy.com/ctrue and look under my print gallery. If you don't want to purchase, then just enjoy this little angel. Maybe she'll bring some goodness and peace into your life.
My plan is to post to this blog during our art week in Colorado because I'll be painting there! I don't know if we'll have internet connection in the mountains. If not, I'll add our experiences there to my long list of things to share with you!! Stay tuned . . . .
May your own special guardian angel bring you a beautiful and peaceful evening! Thanks, my friends.
Hi Claudia, love seeing your art through this blog. Keep it up! Its a way to still feel connected. Had a painting session with some of the "gang" Saturday - Rose Lester, Cindy Stiles and sister , mom, daughter Samantha and me at mom's house. Everyone enjoyed themselves and misses painting regularly. You have been an inspiration to us all and miss you!
