It's party time!!!  These little paintings are part of my "cocktail hour" series - done specially for the 2nd Annual Missouri Wine and Art Festival this Saturday, July 5 - in Excelsior Springs, Mo.  Mike and I went to this event last year and we loved it - so "kick back" - live music from noon to 9 pm, great wines from 7 Missouri wineries, arts and crafts, picnics (bring your own or buy something there) and just general relaxing and enjoying the beautiful grounds of The Elms Resort.  This weekend kicks off the 120th anniversary of The Elms.  I think it's cool that Harry Truman stayed there while waiting for elections returns.  Tons of history - and Excelsior Springs is such a quaint little town.  We enjoyed it so much that we decided to go again and "work" - take our art, hang out with wine and music.  It doesn't get much better than that!

Better run - tons to do before the show.  It should be a beautiful day.  Maybe I'll see some of you there!
