I had so much fun with my last chicken that I decided it needed a pal.  So - here's a sassy little gal to hang out with the other one!!  These are both going in my show at Artichokes - which I'll hang on Monday.  Exciting!  That's such a great space and the people who own it are so supportive of the local arts and artists.  I thought I was going to focus on my "serious" art there, but I'm having so much fun with these funky paintings that I have to include some of them.  I'll also show a few paintings that will be in the 2009 calendar - this is sort of the official introduction of the calendar, even though it hasn't been printed yet.  Why let a little thing like not having a product prevent you from introducing it????  Holly's working on an info sheet and I'll have that at the show until the calendars are here.  Can't believe we're this close to having it done! 

There are so many exciting things going on now - my mind is a buzz!!!  I'm trying to figure out how to get really really good photos and my photographer guru Don Mason has been very instructive and patient with me.  I'm getting the finishing touches done for art in next week's show.  That means my husband gets to do some framing!  We're finalizing the calendar.  And there's an amazing new development in my art marketing world.  Don't want to share that until it's totally "final" but it's exciting indeed.  So I better get off this computer and get back to work!
