Not for Sale!!! Painted by 3-year old Emma
Today was a special day for me - my birthday! And it was a biggie . . . . I've been treated exceptionally well over several days and have enjoyed some VERY nice celebrations. Part of the informal "celebration" was spending time with other artists at an art show this weekend. It makes it okay to have these biggies when you're with family and friends whom you admire and love! Many honored the event with some nice gifts and I'm thankful for all of them. The very most special gift was this painting from my 3 year old granddaughter!!! How cool is this! I love hand made gifts from the heart. Emma was so excited to give it to me (that was SOOO special!) Her Mom admitted it was difficult for her to part with the painting, but she did and that was very generous indeed. How fun that we have another granddaughter with artistic talents. We KNOW our grandson has art in his blood - he made the most creative lizards and dinosaurs and other critters when he was very young and I was always amazed at what came from his mind. I feel blessed to be able to share all these artistic experiences with these young creative minds and spirits - and to absorb some of that young, innocent and so very creative insight. Thank you, Lord!!!
This is another beautiful painting by another young gifted grandchild. Life is good! And I survived another "biggie" . . . . . Whew -
