Timothy's Fine Art
Today I have a very exciting announcement. I'm now represented nationally - and internationally - by Timothy's Fine Art! Timothy's is a company that represents artists in the resale market and they've been around a long time, so they're pretty darned successful at selling art. Historically, they've sold very traditional prints through the wholesale market to big corporate buyers. Now they've added a line of giclee prints on canvas and have expanded the type of art they represent, including a more contemporary and colorful look. Hello - do you get the connection?
Timothy's introduced their new "Copious Collection" at the High Point, NC market in October. This collection was limited to 52 artists in the High Point show and I was one of those artists! This has been in the works for several months, but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to jinx the process. But now it's done - I'm very flattered and pleased to be one of their featured artists. My work was selected to move to the market show in Las Vegas which opens in February. Now the selling phase begins. Keep your fingers crossed!! This has the potential to be a very good thing.
During the selection process, I submitted almost 100 images for Timothy to review. It was fun to see which art Timothy selected - i.e., which art he thinks is marketable. It's also fun to read Timothy's description of my style - "Fusion Art!" I always wondered what to call my stuff. Fusion Art - I like that.
I'll let you know when the Copious Collection is posted on the website for Timothy's Fine Art. This new project is still unfolding "as we speak." Exciting!!!
Below are images (front and back) of the "tear sheet" (information sheet) for my artwork. Enjoy - and let me know what you think!
