Freddy the Funny Frog

How cute is this little guy!!  Tomorrow I hang my show at the nature library, which has a focus on environmental education for young kids.  So I just had to do something really, really fun!!  This was actually one of the first sketches I did for this series - but it was much more realistic in my mind at that time.  Today I said I had to do something way cool and fun, so here you go!  I love this guy.  How much more perfect can life be than hanging out with flowers and rainbows.  No wonder he has that cute little smile.

I did my fossil paintings and will post them soon - plus some flower paintings.  The title of the show is "Flowers, Feathers, Fossils and More - a visual celebration of some of Kansas' treats of nature."  This will be at the Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Environmental Library through April 17.  Click the link for information about the library and for driving directions.  It's "way out there" in N. Kansas City - but it's worth the drive.

Good night to my fun little frog.  I hope he has beautiful dreams - and I hope you do, too.
